Negan and Maggie were bound by a dark, complex history, a web of loss, anger, and reluctant understanding. Maggie, the leader of Hilltop and widow because of him, had lost her husband, Glenn, to Negan’s cruelty. That night had shattered her world, stripping away her hope and trust in humanity.
