He burst into the kitchen, where he saw Hydra on the floor, picking up pieces of a broken bowl on the floor.
He was now muttering the word no under his breath when Lumber bent down beside him. “Hey, Hy? What happened?”
Hydra looked over at him, eyes wide with shock. “I dropped a bowl while doing the dishes- Mommas gonna be so mad, she uses this bowl a lot.”

Or, Hydra accidentally breaks one of Mommas bowls while cleaning, and Lumber is left to pick up the pieces, both literally and metaphorically.

Months after the Troubador yard races, Hydra finds himself frustrated with his situation:
“I thought after racing with you and Rusty, maybe things would be different for myself and Hydrogen… Like other trains would wanna give it a try or I’d have more work.” He finally piped up. He’d done a few one off things with Momma since the races, but she was an older train and the weight of his tank was just too much for her. He couldn’t bring himself to put that kind of strain on her. “Everyone still wants to work with Porter, Lumber, and Slick. But no one seems interested in working with me. Well. Electra was but they and the components make me uncomfortable. They’re so weird! And Rusty has the coaches, especially Pearl-” Hydra’s mouth clamped shut and his eyes widened slightly. Thinking it had been one thing, but actually saying it out loud was another. He tried to recover but he knew Momma had caught what he just said.
And that she did. Her silent gaze on Hydra left him squirming as she decided how she wanted to proceed with that change in topic. “Oh Hydra..”

It wasn’t that Tassita, as the quiet car, couldn’t handle loud sounds. It annoyed him, but he could tolerate it when he needed to. It was when there was too much of it that he couldn’t handle. A train’s horn being blown right next to him was always preferred to the constant rumble of trains speaking over and through each other, all trying to be heard.
The sheer mass of the sounds would run through Tassita, grabbing hold of his mind and squeezing as hard as it could, causing him physical pain. He’d push through it, of course, not wanting to cause trouble for the others, but his mood would grow worse and worse if he wasn’t given a break to cool down in some peace and quiet for a bit.
And by midday, it was starting to look as though things would only get louder, especially when Hydra, of all trucks, decided to stop by.
(AKA Tassita has sensory issues regarding sound and Hydra doesn’t find out about it until he makes said issues Worse)
