Summary
Once, there was a great prophecy that a child of the eldest gods would reach sixteen, heralding a battle for Olympus. While the battle came to pass, there was no child of the big 3 at the age at the time. Now, a new war has begun, and Annabeth once again finds herself smack in the middle of it.
Honestly, she’s quite fed up with it. She got months of her life stolen, her memories erased, became a (temporary) praetor of Romans against her will to prevent a power-hungry schemer, went on a solo death quest from her mom, and now is plunging into Tartarus alone, hungry, and with absolutely no supplies.
However somehow, in the most unlikely of places, she suddenly finds herself with some mysterious help.
Now if only she could find the cause.

Wren Hawthorne vaguely remembered a book series that was just like this from her past life. Wasn’t it called Harry Potter? No, that was the wizard book series.

Let them enjoy their false victory. Let his children and their offspring defeat the opposition for him, clearing a path for his ascension.
But for now, he will march willingly to his defeat. As with the (unwilling) assistance of the child of Hermes, two of the three cyclopes that forged weapons of the Olympians, his most trusted titans, and an unfulfilled prophecy, Olympus will be his.

At the Doors of Death, everything goes wrong. Bob is unable to help Percy and Annabeth. Percy has to hold the button himself and is stuck down in Tartarus for three-hundred years. When he's finally rescued from Tartarus, it unleashes a threat to Olympus once again.
But what happened within Tartarus itself, where Percy fought for every second of his life? Travelling with a cat and an amnesiac Titan whom is slowly recovering his memories, Percy soon realises that he can't tell friend from foe. And deep within the depths of Tartarus, an ancient deity begins to stir.
Prequel/Companion fic to 'Confused by Time' (rewrite), which will have the first chapter posted on The Winter Solstice (22nd December).

Now the new trio must find Iapetus as they travel through the most dangerous place yet. In which they realize this is more than just a simple quest, it’s a hunt.

Nico’s eyes widened. “But–“
“Lead them there!” Percy shouted. “Promise me!”
„I–, I will.”
Nico watched in horror how Percy promised Annabeth to always stay together, to never be apart again. Then, Percy let go and he and Annabeth fell down.
All around, he could hear the others shouting and running to help. All too late, Percy and Annabeth were gone.
Suddenly, Nico heard another sound. A strange crackling was increasingly more and more prominent, until it drowned the voices of the remaining five. Before he realized what was happening, the ground beneath his torso was crumbling away, larger and larger pieces were disappearing in the hungry darkness below.
Nico did not have time to react. The next thing he knew, he was falling too.

Three demigods fall into Tartarus after finding the statue of Athena Parthenos. For better or worse, it is not the first time for Nico.

“I- I don’t want to,” Percy said softly towards her. His voice sounded strained, probably from all the yelling he had done earlier. He looked distraught, his green eyes shone in the darkness, reflecting Annabeth’s harrowed reflection back to her.
Annabeth steadied her gaze. She would make up her mind for the both of them.
“But we have to,” she said. Her voice steadfast and trembling at the same time. It had been the last thing she had wanted to admit right now.
Percy nodded somberly, he looked even whiter than he did facing Tartarus. He glanced down at Riptide in his hand for a second and then brought it up high. He turned around, took three big steps towards the chain and without a single second of hesitation slammed his sword down.
An ear-piercing sound echoed through the cavern. And for a second the whole battle fell still.
