This fic is placed during the "What If We Replaced Jupiter?" Arc. It's an expansion of that arc, because Alvaro rushed through X's interactions with everyone around him so much. This fic also briefly references Jupiter being a war hero, which also happened in the same AU as this one. I'll write a fic about it if you guys want me to, and if I have the time/motivation for it.

He didn’t know what was louder—the silence ringing in his ears, his heart pounding rhythmically, or the demons whispering in his ear, spreading poison that would soon infect his own thoughts.
Neptune was alone.
Alone as always. Sitting is his orbit, hoping and hoping. Hoping for something that would never come. His moons were missing or maybe it was he who was missing. None of the planets bothered with him or maybe it was he who didn’t bother either them.
It was moments like these that made him ponder. Ponder on his existence. Ask questions he isn’t meant to be asking and get answers he was never supposed to know. That was the complexity of his mind. It provided him with everything that made him want nothing. He wanted nothing except to be nothing. Wouldn’t that be so much better than existing? Just imagine drifting mindlessly like a ghost, like someone nobody cared about. No responsibilities, no pressure, no purpose. Just peace.

Triton was sitting down on an asteroid; watching the kids play. It was a strong temptation to just fall asleep right there—but he knew that the kids would probably wake him up.
He started zoning out, staring into the empty space before he felt a small pull of gravity, which brought him back into reality. Triton had to squint before he looked down at Sao. "Yeah, kiddo?"
Sao glanced back at Galatea, who gave him a thumbs up, before he asked, "Big Brother? Are you and Luna doomed yaoi?"

Summary
In the past, Venus and Earth were best friends, an inseparable pair. The two were always said to be siblings, considering how they formed around and woke up around the same time. Venus loved his brother, dearly. Even if his brother was an absolute jerk that got on his nerves and everyone else's as well. Despite all this, Venus still cared for him like the older sibling he was. Then his gravity messes up and sends Theia flying into his brother, causing the most devastating collision possible.
And when his brother wakes up and has no recollection, Venus feels a part of himself die. And when he befriends Mars instead and forgets that Venus existed, another part of him dies. Venus remembers a time when he was the first choice but now, he wasn't and he's jealous. He wants his brother, his best friend back. But he doesn't know how to address it to Earth.
Meanwhile Earth is clueless as hell as to why Venus acts the way he does.
OR: Before the collision, Earth (or Proto-Earth) and Venus were best friends and siblings. After the collision, Earth forgot everything and befriended Mars because something felt familiar about Mars, leaving Venus to stew in his own grief, guilt, and jealousy.

Earth wasn't so sure if this idea he proposed was a good one anymore.
In hindsight, it had seemed like the perfect plan- Sun was angry and wanted everyone to remain in their orbits, but everyone else got too lonely, or bored, or was too far and started losing it. So Earth had suggested using one of the many brilliant inventions his beloved Earthlings had created to fight the boredom until Sun came back to his senses.
"Yes, we are a team indeed! So how about we stop shouting, Sun, and let Earth explain his funny rectangle device?"
"No, Saturn-" Earth groaned, rubbing two fingers between his eyes to fight the growing headache. "Not us, the app we're using is called Microsoft Teams. Its an app that lets you talk to people who are far away."

With everyone forcefully locked in their orbits, Earth proposes to use one of his Earthling devices to be able to keep communicating!
