“Megatron wants what!?” Prowl scoffs as disbelief and genuine irritation spread across his faceplate.

Orion’s restless shifting wakes Megatronus in the middle of his peacful recharge, and one sleepy confession later, he’s out hunting for energon, instead of recharging like a normal mech.
Every place he checks is empty, so he ends up at Soundwave’s door, desperate (though he wouldn't admit that aloud) and fully annoyed. Soundwave decides to help, but forgets that Megatronus can't exactly cook, but somehow they pull it off.

“Speak.” He commands.
“Soundwave: fully capable of speech, Prince Starscream.” Soundwave says, voice low and electronic.
Starscream arches an optic ridge.
“Good boy.” He muses. “I suppose you make a decent enough guard cyber-dog. Do you know other tricks, too?” He cocks his helm, smirking. “Fetch, maybe? Shake?”
Soundwave says nothing.
“Let’s try something simple, dog.” Starscream shifts over on the berth and condescendingly pats the spot beside him. “Sit.”

Bumblebee has been building... Horrifying replicas of Optimus Prime around the Nemesis, and Megatron doesn't know how much longer he can handle it.
In a desperate attempt to get it to stop, Megatron reaches out to the one mech he missed the most.
Optimus, plagued similarly by Bee's behaviour, quickly warms up to the sudden contact.
(This one is by far our longest fic yet. Genuinely dont know how we got to this point! This fic was originally inspired by a very fun comic, but neither me nor A can remember where we saw the comic originally or who made it. If anyone recognizes the similarities and remembers the comic, please tell us so that we can credit them for inspiring an absolute spiral of a fanfiction! It litterally went so much farther then we could ever know.)
UPDATE!!: Comic has been found! Crumb has been credited in the end notes of chapter one for being an absolutely amazing artist!!
