It was not often that Osiris was the first to admit aloud that he missed Saint, though the near daily letters and poems Saint woke to assured the Titan that his Phoenix missed him terribly. Still, it was against Osiris’s carefully maintained control to let it be known verbally, as though speaking it brought about some unseen risk that the written word did not.
