Summary
Nick is thrilled that Charlie is finally at Leeds. It's their first semester together at uni, and Nick is just glad he's got his boyfriend with him again. Unfortunately, this term is already kicking Nick's arse, and he doesn't have much energy for anything more than coursework and rugby. Charlie wasn’t naive.
He knew, even with all the talk, therapy, and support in the world, that uni was going to be really fucking hard for him.
University College London might only be about two hours from Rochester, but it was still almost three hours away from Leeds. The rest of his friends were scattered everywhere; the closest were Tara and Darcy, but they were still an hour and a half away.
He was truly out on his own for the first time, with no family, no friends, nor a support system that he could just call over anytime.
It was Charlie’s first attempt at just trying to live as an adult, not a teenager, so of course he was feeling really nervous about the whole thing.
