Hunk brings an unexpected friend, and Keith can finally see how beautiful the world is, especially with all its colours. The only reason he didn't look away was because his eyes were practically glowing, they looked like they had LED's hidden behind them, unrealistically bright in such dim light. If it was anyone else, Keith doesn't think he would of made it, but Lance was too distracting, too everything for him to slip away just yet. From the way you could only see his freckles when the light hit his face right, to when Keith got him to make his goofy smile, his heart felt full (not like he had a metal rod through is torso or anything). Maybe its the blood loss that's making Keith sappy.

“I really hope you’re not kidnapping me,” Keith starts to speak as Lance opens the door to the passenger side with one hand.
A surprised and quite amused laugh punctures the stagnant air. “Oh my God, do you know how bad that would be for business--it was a joke, you can stop making a fist. I would never kidnap someone.”
Even through the pain, though it has dulled since the initial impact, Keith musters off an impressive glare that has Lance physically gulping. “You’re a real asshole.”

College Au of Voltron characters. Lance, Keith, Hunk, and Pidge are freshman. Shiro is a sophomore.
Lance is nervous about his first day of college, and all the days to come. He's nervous his best friend Hunk won't be there with him. He's nervous about living with strangers. And most importantly, he's nervous about others finding out. When Lance meets Keith and Shiro for the first time his nerves slowly start to fade. That is until things start to get rocky in the trios house. With Shiro always bringing friends over who get way to close and Keith seeming as if he can't even stomach the thought of being in the same room with Lance, he doesn't know how long he can put up with it. And with the pains he's been having since he was fifteen getting worse as the days go by he doesn't know how much longer he can hide behind his wall of lies. What will happen when his wall crashes? Will there be anyone there to help him through the hurting? Or will he be left alone to let his own mind eat away at him until he finally decides that the pain is too much to bare.
