Draco gets better at it, does a course on it, and takes enough commissions for charmed jewellery that he eventually opens his own shop.
But Harry doesn’t know any of this. So when he sees Malfoy in a shop of charmed necklaces, he immediately tries his best to uncover Malfoy’s machinations.

I liked reading StableAirship's writing of the tale Ophidian that is still a WIP. I enjoyed it so much I decided to write my own version but with my own delightful twist to it. I will still be keeping their forms relatively similar to StableAirship's description of them with a minor color change. But in mine when Vivian Riddle comes back in the fourth year she can smell that harry is an ophidian and decides to let him go with the cryptic message to come back when they know.

I really enjoyed this, mostly just to see a studious version of Harry, I loved him using muggle stationary. I did enjoy the world building and the magical lore but the pace was just a bit too slow for me and my interest fizzled out. This has definitely made me want to read more fics like this though, Harry studying Dark Arts or whatever
