Rung and Megatron grow fond of one another and decide to participate in spark merging to solidify that to themselves. Rung unintentionally projects his origin as primus-given-frame into megatron’s CPU and they later find out the merge was so strong it sparked up Megatron with twins. As a side effect of one of their parents being primus, the two are born with powers they aren’t sure how to wield. Rung receives a prophecy that troubles him, and he has to decide which son will be sacrificed for the good of Cybertron.

Drift and Rodimus have been conjunxed all of a few short years, but it kind of feels like forever. As Drift has always been wary of, though, his past once again returns to haunt him. Deadlock made a real mess of things with little care for the future, after all. So, really, it's not a big surprise when those messes come after him in the here and now. It's just unexpected when the latest mess to hunt him down—a group of weird alien mercs and black marketeers—go with a former Lost Lighter as their bounty hunter of choice.
No problem. Drift will take care of it and be home in time for dinner. However, when Drift wakes from an episode of Rodimus being Rodimus (and a touch of a sedative hangover), he finds himself having to rescue his protective conjunx-turned-bounty hunter's hostage.
