She instead finds a bald elf in bad shape about to get taken out by wolves. Some stabbing and yelling later, she decides this is her good deed: Getting this dumbass in better shape so he can do whatever the hell he seems so dead-set on doing.

Solas spluttered, inhaling his spoonful of stew instead of swallowing. He coughed harshly to dislodge the pesky piece of carrot lodged in his windpipe while Selene patted him helpfully on the back.
The tips of his ears burned a fetching bright red, paired with a bloom across both cheeks, but whether that was from her words or his near choking was anyone's guess.
“That is a…unique curse, lethallan,” he eventually got out.
“Thank you. You should try it sometime,” she said evenly.When Selene Lavellan finds herself inexplicably back at the beginning of her journey as Inquistior, she is determined to make better choices. And if one of those choices is to start harassing Solas relentlessly until he blushed like a maiden, that was her prerogative.
Only she may not be prepared for the consequences of her actions, when the teasing gets too much.

They were in the Inquisitor’s private quarters. A few candles offered gentle, warm light across the big room, the curtains drawn shut despite the fact that it was nighttime already anyhow. They were most likely the only ones still awake in the entirety of Skyhold. There he was seated on a chair not far away from the bed. Not really extraordinary.
If it wouldn’t have been for the fact that his hands were tied behind his back and therefore behind the chair’s backrest. Instead of traditional ropes, the band of Solas’ necklace was used to bind his hands neatly together. The wolf’s jawbone hung from the strings loosely.
He was sure that if he’d put his strength into it, he could break the strings. But Solas first would have to ask himself if he really wanted that.
