When Nyxal didn’t continue the playful back-and-forth, the faintest spark of hesitation, perhaps uncertainty, appeared in the vampire's hooded gaze, and the smirk simultaneously disappeared. Nyxal didn’t push, simply tilted his head in silent question, and Astarion immediately broke eye contact, eyes moving to stare at the fire. Nyxal waited as Astarion warred with some inner struggle for a moment. He looked a bit put out at Nyxal’s patient silence, but finally something gave and he deflated. Scarlet eyes met Nyxal’s again, glancing demurely from under lace-like eyelashes.
“I.. want to thank you.” He begins, oh so softly.

Summary

When they find a clue to the whereabouts of the sunwalker ring, Tav is determined to help her friend obtain it for himself. On the way, they discover things about one another while grappling with unexpected feelings.

A bit of temptation, some vampire feeding and a bit of the.. aftermath..Set in Act 1 at camp. Tav has a tent and also enough self preservation skills to diverge from game canon and not just allow a vampire they just met to feed on them when theyre asleep as that seems.. risky 😂

Summary
Freeing an unassuming painter from the Zhentarim had some major unexpected consequences. While dealing with the painter's vengeful ex-girlfriend's spirit, Tav gets possessed and nobody knows quite how to handle it. Least of all Tav's lover, Gale, who watches the spirit drain the life of the woman he loves without being able to do anything about it.

It of course seemed like the good thing to do at the time. Tav certainly thought so, handing over the money to ensure the man’s freedom without a second thought. It was one of those small moments of kindness that eventually led to the wizard falling madly in love with the party’s leader.
Nobody in the group knew just how much shit that painter would get them in once they found him again in the city.
