"Don't call me that!" The snarl rips through the quiet of the woods. "Don't ever call me that."
"Okay," he concedes, "Okay. I won't. But I need you to know, it doesn't… whatever he did, it doesn't make you less of a man."
Finn laughs, raw and bitter. He's been a man since he was thirteen. Because that's what happens when you lose your virginity, right? You stop being a kid. When you kill someone with your bare hands, that's adulthood. You don't get to go back to glow in the dark stars on the ceiling and model rockets. That's all kid shit. And Finn hasn't been a kid in years.
"What do you want, Mando?" he asks, and he sounds angry and exhausted and cracked in half.
"To talk."

When he reached the box, his hands were claw-like, harsh in the way they grabbed the phone and yanked the receiver towards him. He pushed it into the shell of his ear, ignoring the blooming pain from his harsh movements.
At first he was silent. Wary.
Then, he spoke in a hushed breath, his voice gruff and disused.
“Hello?” — he tapped a finger against the receiver, “is anyone there?”
There was a static, long and taut, and dread filled Finn like candle wax burning and dripping onto the dish that held it. A chill ran down his spine, but his entire world stopped when the voice spoke.
“Get to the basement,”
A moment passed. Another, and then Finn’s mind could not keep up with his lurching body.
He was tumbling, spinning mindlessly until he fell to the floor, and the phone plummeted from his hand, hanging itself up, but a singular, distinct thought gripped his mind, unable to let go:
Robin.
Or, Finney and Robin are blasted to another universe where no one had been kidnapped yet. However, Robin can’t seem to remember anything, and The Grabber is close on their trail.

She had just thought that it was a coincidence that she walked to his house, but now after her latest dream, it all seemed so obvious to her. Everything seemed so obvious. Hope felt so sick. For her to know now that she had been sharing her dreams about Griffin stagg being taken by someone with black balloons to the same man who took him.
She had thought she knew him. But Hope didnt. Hope had put so much trust into him, that when she woke up, looking around for Griffin Stagg, only to find Albert there, telling her she had walked in her sleep to his house, she didn't think it was because her dream had anything to do with him. She didn't think that he could've been the one to take Griffin.

The final battle didn't go as planned, nothing did. Finney still sat in the basement torn between everything. Facing the humanity of the Grabber has left him in questioning and he regrets taking the mask off the cruel man. Albert is lost as his latest "Naughty Boy" game had shattered horribly. His brother is gone and the cops run the streets of the neighborhood, someone had seen something and he needed to find who before word spills and he is caught.
I won’t be updating this fic anymore, I do plan on reworking it!
