Summary
Sunny Suzuki, after five months of separation from Faraway, finds himself in a car, speeding its way back for the holidays. He knows that when he returns, his former home won't be the same way he left it. That includes the people living there.
If Sunny can fix the mess he made back home, maybe he can find it in himself to forgive himself. Five months has yielded steady progress, but it's not enough. To accept the past, one must face it.
But the past is dark, and filled with nightmares. To truly forgive himself, Sunny must not succumb to it.

So basically this is a chatfic/normal fic hybrid. It's technically a sequel to what happens in the first work in this series, but you don't have to read it to know what's going on. This fic will be a lot more chill and laid-back than the last one, but it's rated T because of some references to Mari and things that will happen later.

Thank you all for your support whilst I was creating this fic. Unfortunately, time's moved on, and the Omori fandom isn't one that I'm as interested in as I used to be. I still enjoy the game, don't get me wrong. It's just that creating content for it is just something that doesn't interest me anymore.
I'm officially discontinuing this fic, but leaving it up in case you had it in your bookmarks, and want closure as to what happened, instead of that "work has been deleted" message everyone hates.

Coming back home from her university in Near City, Mari's thought about what Sunny and her... ex-friends... think of her was stuck in her mind throughout the way home—still the usual, most likely.
It was because of a sudden and tragic event that drastically changed her life forever, almost shattering her dreams. If only she could've controlled herself back then...
She doesn't care anymore about it, though. She's tried what she can, yet nothing that she ever does, she thinks, can fix the past. So then, she lost faith and stopped trying.
Sitting beside her along the way home is a great and faithful friend that she made from tenth grade, and stuck with her to this day even when Mari told the truth to what happened that day to her. She's very grateful to have her as a friend, and appreciates much all the time that her friend spent with her—from studying to playing games in the dorm, she indeed loved those times with her.
However, after these four years carrying the unbearable weight of severe depression... she has plans for herself later because she's tired of it all.

Okay, so I decided to release some writings I wrote back on 7/17/2021 these were made before I was invited to Ao3, and way before I took up writing seriously these were just a bunch of works I crapped out oh yeah this is the Ancestor to Tabula Rasa means I worked on this first on trusty old notepad and Microsoft words do cut me some slack since this was made like 2 months ago.
And the Grammar isn't there because I wasn't invested in writing like now that's why the grammars trash forgive me for it please.
