Seriously, it was all Bakugou's fault. If he hadn't pissed off the commission, then they wouldn't all be in some sort of Wasteland with no food, no water, and no quirks, completely helpless. Their class wouldn't be separated through time and space, and they wouldn't have to eat whatever the heck that just crawled into the fire. As corny as it sounds, they will have to work together to survive post-war West Virginia until after the commission forgives them. Until then, they are dealing with each other, the scorched, whatever radiation beasts are hiding in the hills, and someone who calls themselves Knight Errant, though they seem to know far more than they initially let on.

This fic depicts a trans masculine nonbinary Vault 76 resident. Their pronouns may change throughout the fic, but for the most part in Beckett's perspective they will be they/them. More male-oriented descriptions will be used for their private parts, among most things. Chapters with sexual themes will be marked as such. Outside of those chapters, the fic stands around a high Teen to low Mature rating due to language and the canon-typical violence. Asexuality is talked about but never outwardly identified, but iykyk.
The author is a trans masculine nonbinary person, so the depictions of the Resident come from a place of personal knowledge.

Imprisoned by his gang for his attempt to leave, Beckett, an ex-raider was caught and jailed while his little brother had supposedly been captured in retaliation. By his luck, the labor camp Beckett was being held in happened to be the target of a Vault dweller known as Graves. The two come together in effort to find Frankie and weaken the Blood Eagles, while finding themselves as more than just partners.
