Tim falls under the influence of a new strain of Ivy’s pollen while following Batman and the new Robin one night. 13-years-old, a civilian who missed his chance to become the third Robin, he’s unusually vulnerable in the dark, treacherous streets of Gotham’s most dangerous neighbourhood. But there’s more to him than at first is visible, a relation of his with a vested interest in his well being doing their best to keep him safe in their own unique way. After wandering the rooftops as pain stabs his body, the hour getting later with each tick of the clock, Tim comes across someone who adamantly refuses to leave him on his own. Will he find aid, or further danger? Only time will tell.

Ra's finally convinced Tim to be his heir after reviving him from the dead and now Tim is a well known underground assassin that goes by the name Goldcrest. His mission is to infiltrate the batfamily and capture one of their members to return to Ra's but for some reason, the Bat's refuse to let him go out of their sight again. That makes things a lot tougher than they should be.
