Time was across the campsite before he could really think about it, kneeling next to Wild and putting a hand near - not on - his shoulder. “Wild?”
Wild didn’t even look at him, at first. His gaze was on the sky, looking rapidly around like he was hunting for something. When he couldn’t seem to find it, he turned to Time and signed with shaking hands “Moon.”
Time froze.
“Where’s the moon?” Wild signed again, looking more and more agitated. “I need to see it, where is it?”
It was like looking into a mirror.

While already dealing with a faulty Sheikah Slate that’s been using him as a powerhouse since the Sheikah Towers sunk back into the earth, Link has been waking up in a trance-like state in the middle of the night.
A tugging sensation pulls him to the West of Hyrule, prompting him to discover what greater purpose lies beyond his completed heroics. Here, a voice tells him to ‘join them’… but who?
And when he does find them, how is he supposed to easily move with their already established dynamic as the odd man out? How is he supposed to endure such a new change in life?

Summary
If he breathed too deeply, he'd choke on the harsh perfumes and fragrant shampoos that permeated his flimsy cotton comforts. Beyond that, he'd discerned the harsh odors of brandished iron and demoralized bodies – a far cry from the familiar forests that should've been his next destination upon leaving Clock Town once and for all.
Link felt so cheated.
Or: The Hero of Time enters the War of Eras and has to come to terms with another adventure while proving his capabilities all over again. For Captain Link, it's hard not to see him for the child he is, and they both silently decide that they must help one another.

Summary
The Chain have traveled across all of Hyrule awakening Wild's sages and discovering the mysterious Tears left for them to find, and yet they still have more questions than answers. As they prepare to track down the Master Sword, Wild takes the time to seek some wisdom from his peers.
Time has always been a man of many secrets, even after so many months spent with the other heroes. Here, nearing the end of yet another journey, his reasons for keeping them have begun to dwindle. When prompted, he will do whatever it takes to ensure the success of his brethren and reassure them.
Wild asks him if he has a song for when it feels like the world is coming to an end.
