Link grasps her hand tightly, like he wanted to feel her warm but also to reassure himself that this was real. What she said was real. Because, deep down he knew that Saria would never lie for something like this.
“I didn’t deserved her” he could only said in the end.
“You deserved her. You did everything you could for this land and her and everyone you care about. And she manage to provide you with a peaceful and quiet life. A life that would not be possible without you”.
“Don’t you think that you also deserve some rest after everything you have done?”.
(Or Hero's Spirit get a visitor, sometime after he return to the Lost forest and after learning something he decided to return back to LOn Lon ranch and got a first meeting with his descendant and future hero of Twilight).

Time shuffles up to standing, taking in his surroundings. There isn’t much to see, unfortunately. The cell is built of solid stone bricks, the floor covered in dust, scraps of rubble, and questionable dark stains. The front of the cell is a wall of metal bars, cut through the middle by a door with a thick lock. He walks over and grabs the bars of the door, shaking them testingly. They barely budge.
The sound of shuffling chains reaches his ears.
“…Is someone there?” he asks cautiously.
When the reply comes, it’s dry and sarcastic. “I wish I wasn’t.”

Time gets tossed into prison, one even he has trouble escaping from... His only company? A snippy and sarcastic stranger in the next cell over.

Warriors's feelings about the Fierce Deity Mask are complicated, and always have been. It would be foolish to deny how helpful the deity can be, but at the same time he hates watching what it does to its wearer. Time knows this but continues to use the mask anyway, just as he always has.
But despite this point of contention, Warriors will always love and be there for his little brother, and Time knows he can count on him for care and comfort.
