Once he had carefully flattened out the wrinkles in the wrapper, Gourdy smiled to himself and tucked it away into one of the two small bags seated beside him. One bag brimmed with an assortment of sweets, while the other was dedicated to the colorful wrappers he had been diligently collecting. Gourdy then let his gaze drift up toward the “sky” above, where the stars twinkled from their invisible threads, sparkling in his adorable, wide eyes.
“They look so close from up here…” he murmured, resting his cheek in his palm. “Like you could reach out, and…”Suddenly, the world around him plunged into darkness. A deep, low-pitched hum resonated throughout the room, before an eerie silence enveloped everything.
The Halloween toons have just arrived in Gardenview, and they are all settling in nicely. However, while Gourdy is off enjoying some candy by himself, a blackout occurs. The Halloween map is plunged into darkness, and Gourdy finds himself unable to locate any of the other toons. Feeling scared and alone, he soon encounters the only other Halloween toon he hasn't yet met: Soulvester.
