“Yeah, uh, I’m sorry, Rumi. I’m okay. Just, you know, Exandroth came out a few times today, so….” He trailed off.
“So that means you…drop a tea kettle?” Rumi asked gently. “Peter, you’re shaking.”
“Oh, yeah, that just happens sometimes.” He shrugged. “My body isn’t really built for divine possession,” he added with a laugh.
“What do you mean by that, Peter?” Rumi asked quizzically. “Are you…hurting?”

Summary
Peter Sqloint, his entire life, has never believed that anyone would do sports for fun.
He was disproven time and time again throughout his childhood, watching his peers clamber to grab footballs and soccer nets and form inseparable bonds made through countless hours of team practice. Peter didn’t get it, and he figured he probably never would.
Besides the fact that he was scrawnier then most and couldn’t hold a conversation to save his life, he hated all the feelings that came with sports. The sweaty, sticky clothes stuck to your body, the screaming and cheering until your throat was raw, chugging lukewarm Gatorade, it all sounded awful.
Which is exactly why he couldn’t believe it when he finished his first official practice with the Prevarus Hockey League, his back pressed to the wall of the rink and his wobbly legs barely holding himself up on his skates.

Or, Peter joins the Hockey team for Thanatos and ends up unexpectedly crossing paths with the confidant Olympic skater at the rink, Rumi. -

there’d been something bubbling in his stomach for some time now, as his face grows sharper and his body grows more toned. it doesn’t feel right. he should be proud of the fact he’s getting healthier, looking nicer, but he’s not a fan of how....sharp everything is. he liked having those softer curves, that fuzzier outline. and the more he looks, the more he realizes what the problem is.
he doesn’t like the masculinity of it all.

She offered him a hand to pull him off the couch but when she did she visibly noticed that he winced, biting back a hiss as he got up. Her eyebrows furrowed in concern and she loosened her already very loose grip on his wrist. “Darling, are you okay? Did you get hurt?”
Peter was avoiding eye contact, an old habit and a tell of his when he was talking about something he didn’t want to discuss. He bit his lip and took a deep breath, pretending like he wasn’t clearly in a noticeable amount of pain. “Nono—I’m fine. I’m just a bit sore from hiking, that’s it.”
She frowned, the hiss he let out was not one of just sore muscles. She wasn’t mad at Peter for lying to her, just curious and concerned as to why he would. He took another step towards their room and Elena’s eye caught on the familiar black garment that Peter frequently wore poking out from under his shirt.
“Is it your binder, Love? If it’s bothering you, you should take it off,” She took a step forward and wrapped an arm around his waist, concern evident in her eyes. “How long have you had it on?”

It had been another endless walk on a dark forest path. Peter had grown quite accustomed to the constant walking, and not always getting his preferred amount of sleep on nights like these. Nights?
