Follows the plot of BG3 fairly closely. No Dark Urge. Astarion will not ascend, but it's discussed. Tav (named Zephyr in the story) has her own backstory in Baldur’s Gate.
Warnings are mostly for Astarion's backstory and canon-typical violence in fight scenes/backstories. Specific content warnings will be in the notes prior to each chapter when relevant. Very mild/alluded rape/non-con for Astarion and Zephyr's backstories, but nothing explicit.

Myst (tav), a very cold and reserved woman and the Vampire Spawn Astarion form an unexpected bond over time, starting off as mortal and immortal enemies because.... reasons. The Illithid events of Baldur's Gate 3 never happen, so it's really just Myst, Astarion, and a few other familiar faces on a VERY long and probably unnecessarily drug out quest to find a way to destroy the loathsome cockroach that is Cazador.
I WILL SAY THIS ONLY ONCE!!!! TRIGGER WARNINGS GALORE. I do not know exactly how much detail I want to put into what yet so you guys MIGHT read some extremely fleshed out and traumatizing torture stuff, or maybe you won't, I do not know. But just know, there is that possibility so stay on guard. If I decide to make things graphic, I will put Markers at the beginning of the chapter in which the shit happens that will let you know where to stop and where to skip to.
This is the first story I've written in a LONG TIME so my pacing may be awful. Dunno how long I want this to be, but I expect to have more than 50,000 words.
