.Just a few minutes ago he had wanted to duel the child with no further questions but now that he was no longer confined to that obligation as much and was released from his prison, he was just fine with it and enjoying a small drink with them? Perhaps a strike of intruige got the better of them, as they were very curious on why a child would go out of their way to summon Nova and wish for his freedom.
Surely the kid wanted something out him, maybe a bodyguard or just someone to show off and help him in scuffles. Not enjoyable to the warrior, but it would be a nice enough break until he got bored or was eventually enclosed once again by whoever still feared him.

Daroach, leader of the infamous gang known as the Squeak Squad, though unloved by King Dedede, is a hero of the people, stealing for the good of Dream Land and of course, the good of the Squeak Squad. He protects his friends and allies from their painful pasts and aims to rid Popstar of its tyrannical and greedy ruler, infiltrating the castle and stealing back the food wrongfully taken from the people.
Meta Knight has had enough of the laziness of King Dedede, the honourless and greedy way in which he rules has led to the suffering of the residents of Dream Land one too many times and it’s always him who has to set things to rights. Things would be much better if he was in charge and Dream Land’s lazy lifestyle would change into one of chivalry and honour, everyone looking out for everyone else, protecting those who needed that little bit more help.
These two rivals both desire the same thing, and yet, they can’t stand the sight of each other and are always interfering with the other’s plans on improving Dream Land by dealing with Dedede, but where Meta Knight and Daroach see a problem, the Squeak Squad and the Meta Knight’s see an opportunity; the chance to join forces and deal with Dedede together…

Not long after returning home and witnessing their father’s evil plans die along with him, Kirby suspects that dark matter and timeline mishaps will no longer be a major issue. However, another pressing matter quickly comes to light once an unknown person becomes the new recruit of Meta Knight’s crew. Will this mysterious newcomer be as large of a threat as Kirby fears, or will their rocky relationship with their friend and his crew crumble before anything happens? As many say, some things are best to be left alone.
Notice: This is a sequel to my first Kirby fanfiction, "Stardust in the Spectrum". There will be some things mentioned in this story that you won't understand unless you read the first story; some of those things being Kirby's backstory and relationships with some of the other characters. Just like the first story, everyone is humanized and Kirby is a gender neutral adult, who's backstory I made using my own creative liberties since they do not have an official past I know of that is canon.
