Peso waddles left to right, being spooked by the smells and sounds of the forest. Though it was only 6pm, it was dark out.
Peso continued to walk down the rock pathway. “Well..there’s nothing out here.” Peso muttered to himself “I’ll just take some of these rocks and bring them back for Shelly.” Peso bent down and he grabbed some rocks that ranged from grey, to brown to white.

When Peso first saw the flier on his old college's poster board, he was surprised.
At first, the idea seemed absurd. Leave his family to work on a dangerous submarine with complete strangers? No thanks! But then, he thought about all the years he spent feeling like he didn’t fit in. All the years he spent playing with insects at recess instead of the other kids his age. He thought of all the years he spent yearning to be a part of something bigger.
