Summary
The RESET button is pressed. No surprise. Another wound inside Sans tells him this wheel will never let go. The world around him melts, everyone forgets themselves, forgets what happened between them. The ketchup flies back into the fridge and dissolves with it into nothingness.
He accepts this with restraint, ready to face the void, to be a toy in someone else's hands.

Summary
Onto glitchy, uneven ground they fell, looking up at the sky that wouldn’t last. The sky looked abnormally bright, with the earth itself sputtering beneath their limp body. They reached forward, grumbling before rising up with a stumble, wobbling over to the cliff as they dust themself off. They stared down at the bottom of it, frowning. It was so high up, yet they.. didn’t want to really take a step back.
The sound of a soft crack entered their ears, yet they continued to blankly stare down, before their gaze met the town just beside MT. Ebott. Another crack, yet they just relished in the view. One final crack, and they begin to stumble downwards. They pay it no mind considering their earlier fall.
What they do pay mind to however, was a large piece of the cliff cracking, falling off and bringing them down with it.

How a glitchy, traumatised Frisk (and Chara) met Error and Nightmare, and how that caused them to meet the Bad Sanses.

After defeating Asriel in battle for what felt like the thousandth time, something new finally happens. Instead of disappearing, a new magic consumes the human souls and gives them life once again. With the barrier broken, they'll be able to go home and get their own happy endings, right? Unfortunately their families were disturbed by the way they came back to life, and because of the time gaps some felt too old to be parents again.

And yet, for once, the universe gave in. In a timeline where the seventh fallen child's soul is claimed and Asgore frees the Underground, the souls claimed refuse to stay dead.

Summary
So many universes are based off two extremes; Pacifist and Genocide. Sans knew that far too well. With so much of his world based off of Karma, Murphy's Law, and varying degrees of luck, he should have figured that his own would run out with the worst timing possible. Slingshot across universes mid-way through a Genocide timeline, Sans now has to live with his alternates, get along with said alternates, navigate a new universe, refrain from breaking the new universe, and fix the machine to get home and save Papyrus by forcing the kid to RESET.
It always feels like the world rests on his shoulders. It's just bad luck.
