After so long Japeth and Aric go on a Tedros ordered hunting trip, intending to kill Sophie and bring back her body for the Camelot fortune. Instead they open the previously closed fairytale and welcome Sophie and Agatha back into their world. And of course, the Sader twins are shoved right in the center of it. Because, as Japeth has said before, going to school was the biggest mistake he ever made.

Hester finds herself being paired with Ravan at the No Ball, because, well– she’s supposed to be dancing with a guy, and he offered, but by the time the music starts she hates every moment of it. Hates his hands on her waist, hates their clumsy shuffling movements and the shyness in his face, and then she catches sight of Anadil dancing with Vex and she hates that even more.
Ravan, unfortunately, catches onto her feelings, but he’s more sympathetic than Hester expected.
