It’s TouchStarvation.doc people. 40k+ of it. Non-stop one-shots putting Sephiroth through the hurt-comfort wringer set to max, exploring trauma that made him both fear touch, and the abandonment that made him crave it. But most importantly, the efforts of three friends try to piece him back together again. I wrote this because I am the living embodiment of this post, and because Sephiroth is 1000% a giant cat who needs to cuddle in the sun at all costs.

They start out harmless, but get weird fast, and the police won't help because the stalker hasn't actually threatened him or shown his face, so Cloud's very hot friend puts his foot down and hires Cloud a bodyguard. Maybe that'll scare the stalker off.

Gloved hands gripped tightly at the armrests of his chair, leather creaking as he tensed for a fight he no longer understood the rules for. His pulse thrummed loudly in his ears while a representative at the head of the table went on about the quarterly budget, flowery excuses made for the more lavish expenditures in the report.
She was not with him.
He sat there and he could not feel Her no matter how far he reached for Her residual warmth, a stagnant void where She had once taken residence in his head and flowed freely through his veins. The very reason for why his heart still beats was simply gone, leaving him with nothing but disorientation and a slow-broiling rage to fill its place.
His Mother’s voice was not among the buzzing chatter of insects that filled this room.
Sephiroth, who is still under Jenova’s influence and currently not in the best mindset for anything regarding the Planet’s wellbeing, is the one that will have to change fate for the better.
AKA This is a FF7 time travel fix-it, but Jenova is one hell of a drug.

Summary
In the hope that one of the men who had last seen his son might know where he is, Vincent saves Zack and Cloud using the darkness inside of him he so fears. He doesn't know what it is and doesn't want to know.
Unfortunately for him, Cloud has a strange link with the demon bonded to his boyfriend's soul, and he does want to know.
Meanwhile, Genesis goes on one last mission to get revenge on Shinra and rescues Sephiroth and his three young sons from Hojo. Somehow, they've survived all that Shinra and Jenova did to destroy them, but if Strife finds them now, they will all go down in flames--again.
Genesis might just be their only hope to survive, if he lives long enough.

Summary
Cloud didn't remember mostly anything. that did not stop him from fighting Rufus on the roof, but Rufus, somehow, manages to best him. Cloud, taken back into the building, is now under Rufus' control. Tifa and Barret do their best to come up with a plan to get him back, but when they manage it, will Cloud even want to return with them?
Painful revelations are brought about as Cloud remains with Rufus, Tseng begins to grow on him, and he is no longer sure what he should and should not believe. He is forced to question a lot, including what he knew about himself, and Shinra, particularly the younger one. There is a rather large chance Cloud will decide to forego returning to help Avalanche the longer they struggle to try and figure out how to rescue him, but will Sephiroth let his little puppet go?
