Summary
By the time Robert turned thirteen it had quickly become apparent that he’d never be the tallest or the strongest of men.
And as he grew into an adult he took to hanging back, to looming like a dark shadow with his too-large jacket and his dark clothes. He grew a moustache to hide the sharp height of his cheekbones and delicate curve of his jaw. He smoked cigarettes to deepen his voice and give him the air of mystery.

Summary
(Or, four conversations that Robert might have had)
The dawn came, as it did every day before and would do every day after.

After the events of Operation Hyacinth, Robert has to pick up the pieces and face the uncertainty of the future.
