When Link wakes up, he expects to start the cycle over again from ground zero, and for the most part that’s true. There’s a princess in distress, the kingdom needs saving and “yours truly” is the only one that can possibly clean up this mess.
Where things diverge, however, is that he’s privy to the knowledge that this isn’t his first rodeo. In fact, he remembers almost everything about his previous lives. It’s this current one that’s giving him a bit of memory trouble. Usually life begins at, you know, the beginning. Which makes waking up as a seventeen-year-old with no recollection of events that lead up to said awakening a bit jarring. Remembering his past incarnations is also weird, considering it’s never happened before.
Luckily, there’s a familiar old man there to tell him he’s been sleeping for the past 100 years. So, he was in a magically induced coma? That certainly explains his long remembering spell. Oh well, not like any of this matters, it’s just another chapter in his unbelievably long existence. Might as well get it over with quickly, after all, he knows exactly where his enemy’s waiting.

Link is a normal boy. He works at the stable of the Woodland Military Camp, taking care of the horses during the day. At night he's a servant, pouring drinks and taking away plates at mealtime. He's considered an atheist to the other hylians, due to his refusal to praise Hylia. He prefers to pray to the Golden Goddesses instead.
His father is Harthen Zaron, the ex-captain of the royal guard. Brought out of retirement to train the newest generation of royal guards in preparation for the return of Calamity Ganon.
One day, the King arrives at their remote camp. A tournament will be held to find a man worthy of bearing the title of hero.
Link just wants to prove himself, and maybe this is the ticket to doing so. He doesn't want to be the hero so if he makes it to the finals he'll just throw it anyway.

You probably know the ABSOLUTE DREAM COUPLE Link and Ilia, his childhood friend.In Akira Himekawa's official manga, however, it becomes clear that Link is not the
the only one who is interested in Ilia: The evil King Bulbin kidnaps Ilia and wants to make her his wife and Queen of the Shadow Realm. To protect her, he hides her against her will in the desert and Hidden Village. When Link finds her again, he and his troop of Bulbins try to recapture her.It is not shown directly in the game as to why King Bulbin is interested in Ilia, so my friend Lara and I made fun of this new "plottwist" and wrote a STUPID fanfiction ... in which Ilia ultimately falls in love with King Bulbin ... even though he's a scary monster. But we already know that from "Beauty and the Beast", hence the title xD
Please don't take it seriously, no matter how serious it was written. Except those who actually ship Ilia x King Bulbin. I don't know if such shippers even exist, if yes, then here is the very first fanfiction about this pairing.
