Summary
Scar stared down at the sigil carved into the ground. It was just some coincidence in the world generation, some missing blocks that just so happened to take that shape. It wasn't a sign, it wasn't anything nefarious, it wasn't anything that warranted calling out to the others. If Scar happened to scour this area more intensely than the others, that was just a coincidence, too.
OR: Grian is kidnapped. He's not alone when he comes back.

Grian hesitated, then spoke the word slowly, testing it on his tongue. “Jellie?”
Scar’s smile widened, and he nodded. “Yes, Jellie.”
Something in Grian’s chest loosened at the simple exchange. It was a small victory, but it felt like a step in the right direction. He repeated the name again, more confidently this time. “Jellie.”
Or, Scar and Grian learn to communicate. And Scar learns what a Watcher is, in perhaps the worst way possible.

Summary
Avians: they live practically forever and have beautiful wings, surely there's some scientific knowledge within them that humans can use! The problem is that without a flock, they inevitably get sick and die. It makes any real experimentation on them difficult.
The good people at ScienceCorp have a solution! An artificial environment where avians can be kept and monitored between treatments, flock creation guaranteed! It has the added benefit of allowing studies on their natural behavior too.
The addition of a rare fledgling should do well to the experiment. The scientists are eager to see.
Techno is eager to get out of this awful place.

Summary
Mumbo doesn’t think he’ll ever forget the state the Third Life hermits were in when they first came back to Hermitcraft, especially Grian and Scar. The fact they all wanted to go back for round two with Last Life was more a testament to the boredom of functionally immortal players than anything else, but it still concerned Mumbo. What if he wouldn’t be able to help them when they came back this time? What if something happened there that he didn’t know about and couldn’t address?
So, this time, Mumbo decided to go with them. The better he knows what they’ve been through, the better he could help, right?
But paths to the Nether are built out of good intentions, and upon returning from Last Life carrying something that should’ve been left behind, Mumbo is forced to face the terrifying possibility that he’s not the person his friends think he is.

He closed the book and grabbed his comm, clicking into his messages. He knew they were having movie night today (it was a Saturday tradition), but he once again had forgotten the starting time.
His stomach growled, and he ignored it, continuing to search for the time. After a moment, he found it. He wanted to be there before 8 PM, which was in about an hour. He was pretty much ready to go, but got up anyway. He should probably eat before he went… he tromped down the hallway to the cellar. When he opened the freezer’s lid, the smell immediately hit him. It was strong and sickening, and X gagged, feeling his stomach turn. He slammed the lid shut, a last wave of air hitting him. Bracing himself against the wall, he took in a few deep breaths through his mouth. When he was feeling better he went back upstairs and sat on the couch, curling one leg up close to his body. So animal blood was already off the table… He frowned. He hated drinking human blood, but unfortunately there was only so long he could drink alternatives before he began to get sick.
AKA - Vampire Xisuma doesn't like drinking human blood, but unfortunately he has to.

It was still trying to grab at him, trying to drag him into a riptide and pull him out into the depths where something old slept. Telling him that it was sorry, that it didn’t mean to bite, that it didn’t mean to hurt him. That it wouldn’t do it again if he only let go.
He could taste salt water in his mouth even though he hadn’t gone any farther into the water.

After protests have broken out, the Hero Association has to face the fact that they've let heroes run rampant. Destroying both private and public property, with no consequence.
Scar, or HotGuy, is the main culprit of this and is sent to the newly established permit office to get his official permit for his weapons. He thinks this will be a piece of cake, he is wrong.
Grian is tired of the government, heroes, work, and most of all, HotGuy. When the latter walks in like he owns the place, Grian isn't about to make any part of this easy.

No one ever promised Technoblade safety before.
Plenty of people have offered him plenty of things, but they were always presented as deals. Techno gives himself to them in exchange for something: renown, his life, an escape route off a dying planet. It all seems the same after enough time, and this latest server is no different. The revolution that was supposed to come of it never did.

After Double Life, Etho wasn't the same person anymore. During the duration of the game, Joel proved himself to be an awful person due to the affects of going red, training Etho to be fearful of everything. But going home to his safe and comfortable partner didn't change how he thinks now.
