Summary
No one ever teaches the denizens of the deep to fear the dark. Instead, they learn to fear the surface dwellers and to mistrust the dry and desiccating world they live in. The surface societies continue to explore deeper, but the ocean is a large place. Avoiding them is easy.
When his twin is trapped, however, and a surface exploration outpost is implicated, Fai finds himself infiltrating their vessel. Isolated and in a truly alien environment, he can only hope that he remains undiscovered.

Kurogane had been crammed in a tiny, uncomfortably stiff hospital chair for almost two hours now, nothing to do but track the people coming in and out of the lobby — doctors and nurses delivering news, family and friends coming and going with snacks and drinks or arriving to wait like Kurogane or bundling off with their patched-up loved ones — the overflowing room slowly dwindling down over the hours to just a few mildly injured patients like Syaoran, and one, lone man over by the windows who’d been pacing back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. Endlessly, relentlessly, anxiously, for two hours and probably then some, long before the two of them had shown up, if Kurogane were any judge of the tension in the man’s shoulders and the lines of worry on his face.

An AU in which Fei Wang Reed doesn't kill Fai, but freezes his time and keeps him as a hostage instead. After their victory in Clow, Yuui reunites with a brother who never grew up, and the original Fai is welcomed into his twin's found family.
Essentially, Yuui building his life back together with the two people he treasures the most: his other self and the love of his life.

Yuui is in the hospital that shares a border with a prison where his Father works and Kurogane is a prisoner. Yuui and Kurogane send paper planes at each other
And just so you're not surprised, the prison is awful and Yuui and Kurogane both die.
