It was only as Gwendoline was tying her braids up to wrap them for the night that she finally caught the troubled expression on Zero’s face. It was fraught and increasingly so, her nigh-skeletal hands digging into the bed sheet. Every breath was a laborious one, to where Gwendoline worried that Zero might have taken ill. She was quick to rush to her lover’s side, her dark brown hand contrasting starkly with the deathly pallor of Zero’s forehead. It didn’t feel unusually warm, so what was the matter?
-WolZero Week Day 6: Comfort. Gwendoline arrives back at her suite after a long day and night of work only to find that Zero has beaten her in going to sleep. Yet, something doesn't seem right.
