This is a companion piece to 'Wish You Were Here' and 'In the Dark' simply because I couldn't wait any longer to write about these three. You don't need to have read any of the previous series parts to follow this; if you ARE reading the previous parts this might be a bit spoiler-y, so please take that into account.
This is mostly inspired by my FC going 'oooo, we'd love a game/sitcom/anything really about Emet, Hyth and Azem'. Since I would too, I started to write it. Because it's post-Endwalker, it may turn out to be very non-canon since I don't have any real story beats to pick up on yet. No idea how long/short it's going to be either, and I do need to crack on with 'Wish You Were Here' so this might not get updated all that often.

But tensions are high, especially with tales of missing women and a mysterious reaper dressed in white. The Final Days are long over, but you can't escape the void... or the darkness in mankind's hearts.

"I still lack the understanding of exchanging something for nothing," Zero stated, now back in the present reaching for the tree-shaped cookie.
It felt like an easier topic to broach than the one that had been on her mind previously. That was strange. She'd never given such a consideration before.
"In some instances, that may be for the best," Celeste replied as she picked up another cookie. It was a snowman this time.
That response perked up an eyebrow. With many things Zero didn't understand about the Source, Celeste tended to take a stance directly counter to her own.
Seeing her expression, the viera continued, "gifts like this are few and far between. While Miounne had no ulterior motive, the same can't be said for all who would offer a hand. Your instinct to avoid debts is the correct one. If I didn't consider Miounne a friend, I wouldn't have accepted these."
