Nobody noticed it at first. Or rather, they believed all of the excuses. The long sleeves and turtlenecks? For Rumi. The time spent in her room and the countless notebooks? Just making new songs.
But Zoey had said that she was taking a break from writing only a month before.
Nobody connected the dots.
Except Bobby.
He had learned about demons a while ago. Zoey taught him some self-defense. Bobby was trustable. Bobby was different.
