Summary
“Oh, hello. Are you from this plane?” A person leans over from the side of Bolas' portal. They appear to be tinkering with it, though Jace doesn’t bother to try and guess how.
“Um. Sort of. I mean, yes, basically.” He clears his throat. “Yes, I’m from here. Uh, not to be rude, but who exactly are you?”
The person gives him a quick sort of smile before returning their attention to the tinkering. “I’m Chromium Rhuell. You probably haven’t heard of me, but I’m guessing you’ve heard of at least one of my brothers.”
“Okay,” Jace says slowly. The name actually does sound a bit familiar. It makes him think of Dominaria. “Who are your brothers?”
“Well, technically I have three living brothers, but I doubt you know Arcades. Do the names Ugin or Nicol Bolas ring any bells?”
Alright, he was wrong before. Now he doesn’t understand anything at all.

An absurd but sincere fix-it fic immediately following "The Gathering Storm" and cutting the War of the Spark novels off before they have a chance to make a very bad story.
