The tundra was a wasteland. With snow for as far as anyone's eyes could see. Pine trees stretched up towards the sky, wolves howled against the wind and Ranboo found himself standing in the middle of it. A wool lined cape hugged his slender frame as his gloved hands held a steaming pot of soup.
Techno’s and Phil’s cabin was a few staircase steps ahead yet he couldn’t bring himself to move. Couldn’t bring himself to talk about what happened last week.
He doesn’t have a secret anymore, can’t make up lies and hide away in his closet with stuffed animals. Pretending that the world didn’t exist.
Because Techno and Phil knew, now, that he regresses.
Or: In the aftermath of a phantom incident Ranboo finds himself invited for dinner with his neighbours. He doesn’t trust that there kindness will last.

Ranboo isn't a bad kid. Truly. He doesn't yell, or create problems.
The problem, though, is that he can't bond with family's the way he supposed to. He wants to talk, he wants to be the kid people signed up to get, so why can't he?
Then he gets adopted by Phil, and his kid doesn't talk much either.
He can manage this.
