Summary
Ed, Izzy, Ivan and Fang make up the old-school rockband 'Blackbeards'. They topped the charts years ago, and are now fading fast from popularity. Ed comes up with a great idea to mix up their sound, they should write a ballad! Izzy refuses, and the band splits. While drowning his sorrows, Izzy meets a cheeky Lucius at a song-writing class being held at Spanish Jackie's bar. Unable to stay away from the annoying man, Izzy finds himself finding a muse he didn't expect.
Soon enough, he hears that Ed has paired up with Stede fucking Bonnet for a local song-writing competition and all hell breaks loose.

Summary
After accepting Shanks’ invitation to stay aboard the Red Force, former Warlord and Alpha Swordsman Dracule Mihawk charts unfamiliar territory with the faint hope that he and Shanks might be able to recover what they once lost over thirteen years ago. Still, there’s a well of hurt that keeps Mihawk at arms length and a fear that he’s making a mistake by reopening old wounds. However, if there is one sure fact about Dracule Mihawk it’s that he does not run from a challenge.
Whether this challenge will bring closure to the past or open a door to a brighter future, only time will tell.
Meanwhile, Pirate Emperor Shanks is a man of many faces and even more responsibilities. He’s a man whose reputation is world renown, and wherever he goes, high expectation is sure to follow. Yet, underneath the burden wrought by being one of the world’s strongest, is an alpha whose heart yearns for a second chance to make amends for the mistakes of the past. Mihawk is willing to accept his hand in a tentative truce to try again, and Shanks vows that by any means necessary, he will not mess this up again.

Ed tilts his head back, looking at Izzy upside down. “Hey, Iz. It was exactly what it sounded like. Grab a bottle and a seat. Maybe now you two can finally tell me how you two know each other.”
“We, uh, we don’t-” Stede stammers out, having wandered over to his bed nook, wanting to give the two some privacy.
“He’s my fuckin’ cousin,” Izzy says over him. “Now can we please focus?”
“Focus on what, Izzy? Dying? Surprisingly, I’m trying to not focus on that, hence the very nice brandy here.” Ed holds up the decanter for emphasis. “And apparently how you two are fuckin’ cousins! Like, what’s that about?”
