Summary

But as their collaboration unfolds, the Void Huntress finds herself learning more than just the methods of a seasoned proxy. Their conversations drift into unexpected territory, revealing fragments of his world and stories that have little to do with the job at hand. These talks are casual, unguarded moments she never expected to enjoy as much as she does.
Over time, she begins to feel a quiet longing, a pull toward his voice, his words, and, perhaps, toward the proxy himself...

Wise tried unsuccessfully not to imagine the Public Security officer in such a compromised manner. “Guess so," he agreed hoarsely. "If you wanted to, not that you’d be in such a position to begin with.”
Zhu Yuan enlists Wise's help and videotape player to review confiscated vintage cassettes with missing labels, and curiosity gets the better of them when they find out what's on the tapes.

At first I wanted to make a grand longfic series going into a Caelus/Firefly romance, but after getting an internship at hoyo and finding out I'm going overseas for a year to study, I think it's a promise I can't fulfill with my current schedule ^^" I want to write more characters, and I want to write about amphoreus, too!
So I'll have to discontinue this series -- I'll try to give One Small Step and Today's Moments an ending, at the very least!
