The wind blew their hair to frame their face as the waves roared. The smiles and laughs exchanged with the strange monsters. Their endearing quirks. The scenery changed.
Three.
The dancing characters on the screen blurred when they laughed watching the two try to play the dancing arcade games. They felt someone wiggle their fingers between theirs. Following their arm up to their face they smiled and laughed together at the sight before them.
Two.
He was coming now, but they had something to lose. More to lose this time. They weren't strong enough. They needed to hurry. They needed to hide. The manic laugh startled a sound out of them and they bolted. They yelped as they were snatched up by their hair and restricted. Something's wrong. As you cried, your people wiped away the tears, supported the shakes, listened to the sobs.

Summary
In a world were monsters are forced into slavery and are controlled by collars around their neck, you never thought you'd be a part of the twisted reality. Your sick and owning a monster was the only way to keep you alive just that little bit longer. You hate the idea, Your Dad hates the idea, but it is the reality you know have to live with. It does help a bit to know that the monster your stuck with hates the human race and has no qualms about you dying. You do wish he'd stop spoiling your TV shows but it's not like your going to order him not to.
