    Summary

“You’re serious. You think I’ll actually find true love here,” Al-Haitham realizes. Kaveh stiffens. Does he think finding love in Akasha is a possibility? Yes, it’s what he wants to believe in. Will it last? Probably not, realistically speaking

Will Al-Haitham find true love in Akasha?

“I think,” He says, slowly, “You’d be surprised.”

Kaveh's unfortunate promotion leads him to handle Akasha's least interested star of the season.

    Summary

“I mean, do you ever stop and think about who your anonymous friend might be?" Tighnari says. "Or like, maybe it’s someone you already know or some random guy in one of your classes.”

“No,” Kaveh says, thinking. “With my luck, if I did know him already, then he would probably be the worst person I know. Someone like Al-Haitham.” The thought is so absurd that he stops and laughs. “But that would be fucking awful.”

In Kaveh's humble opinion, the title for The Worst Guy In The World is tied between four people: the asshole in his Tuesday eight am, the employee behind the library email account, the guy writing the university's advice column, and the student that the professor he assists always complains about.

It would only be too convenient if they were all the same person. (They are.)

    Summary

Al-Haitham hums, sitting back in his seat. His eyes get that look they always do when he's thinking– at least that had stayed the same– before he put his hands in his pockets.

“You can stay with me, if you'd like,” he says all too casually as he pulls a hand back out his pocket. “For the time being,” he adds on a little too quickly, “until you manage to get yourself out of the mess you’ve made.”

Kaveh was about to open his mouth to protest. Like he'd ever take an offer from him, especially with that attitude.

But then Al-Haitham slides a key across the table to him–golden, with emerald embellishments, a carbon copy of the soulmark on Kaveh's arm– and the words on his lips dissipate into the warm tavern air.

    Summary

Usually it is “they kiss, and live happily ever after, the end”, but Robotnik finds the stories are even more inaccurate than he has always thought. The kissing part is not an end of a story, it is a beginning of something new, and this new thing is a territory he is entirely unequipped to deal with. All his genius does not get him any further in this, and he always comes back to these two questions:
What is he supposed to do now? What does Stone expect from him?

Direct sequel to “Come a little bit closer” – Robotnik attempts to put feelings into nice, orderly, logical lines, and fails spectacularly. Thank god does he have Stone to help figure this out.
