You didn't know how you ended up here, but quite honestly a part of you never wanted to go back.
You were 12 when you found them. A world directly beneath your feet. You weren't the first human, no definitely not. You were only the first human to fall for their generation, but it made all the difference.
You were a reckless, headstrong, and stubborn child, but that fire in your eyes was more than enough to set hope ablaze in their souls. Especially for a skeleton who never knew much more than his father, brother, best friend, and countless others who looked down on him. You lit up his dark sky with the embers of a youth he'd almost had to throw away.

It has been 5 years since monsters were freed from Mt. Ebbot by the human Frisk. Its also been three years since The Anomaly incident of 20XX.
In order to combat the surge of misplaced monsters, and to encourage the unification between humans (and mages) and monsters, an Ebbot based program was launched. LIM, Living in Mutuality Agreement; or its little-known counterpart, Live In Mage Act.
The goal, have mages live with the newly displaced monsters, ensuring peace, and slowly introducing the newly appeared monsters into society.

You fight for money under the table at an illegal combat ring called The Grounds. The boss cared nothing for your lack of credentials and embraced you the first day you showed up, begging for a job.
It’s been quite a few years, thousands of bruises, hundreds of scars…
And still, you wouldn’t change it for the world.

Max was better at everything you did, singing, school, even relationship's. You tried everything to be the best child for them, but they never noticed you. Even if they did, they always compare what you did to Max. What's worse is that Max was a wonderful person, he never rubbed any of his talents in your face and was a caring brother. However, it wasn't enough, and soon you just...gave up.

you stay with the skeletons and their girlfriend- aka their mate heather...
you didn't have much in life, things never went your way, they just happened the way they were meant to happen and you'd go along with it, apologize, give in, as long as it didn't cause a dramatic scenario you'd say you did it, it didn't matter if you didn't as long as you had your own space at the end of the day. Just you in your room helping your plants grow by giving them your love and appreciation, at least they wanted it; you'd sing them your songs after work and practice with them before hand, they were always there for you, what else could you need?
