Summary
The stress of filming the last four episodes of season 3 have caught up with Jensen, who blames his hallucinations on Dean's emotional roller coaster and his own lack of sleep. But a short break between the season finale and the shooting of his new movie fails to improve his mental state. He abandons the movie and becomes a recluse in Vancouver, fearing for his own sanity. Once he realizes that the hallucinations are real, and there's more than just his sanity at stake, Jensen contacts Jared, who may be the only person able to understand what Jensen's going through. Jared arrives in Vancouver just in time to save Jensen's life, but the danger threatening Jensen remains. Their lives become a race against time, and the show has brought them more than they'd bargained for. Jared has to keep Jensen alive for 43 days. Can they make it?

Summary
When Jensen was eighteen his father got fired from his job of 27 years and snapped. He went on a murder spree that took the lives of all the people in the building. It ended with a shoot-off with the local police. His father was “killed on sight.”
His mother couldn’t handle what her husband had done and took her own life, slitting her wrists in the bathroom.
With the deaths of both his parents’ lives hanging over his head, along with the scorns of the town’s people, Jensen fled the small town of Massachusetts.
Five years later, he returns to sell his parents’ house. It was supposed to be a simple sign-off and sale, but Jensen manages to catch the attention of college boy Jared, who can’t seem to take a hint.
To make matters worse, a few days after his arrival, people start disappearing. Later discovered as being brutally murdered. As if that wasn’t bad enough, Jensen discovers the fantasy books aren’t as make-believe as he once believed when Jared claims he “imprinted” on him.

Summary
Nestled in the hills and slopes below the Topatopa mountains in Ventura, California, lies the two-hundred-acre farm, Valley del Azahar.
Reluctantly returning to the home he left eighteen years ago, Jared must confront his past to avoid a future he’s tried to escape his whole life... becoming his father.
Also, saving his failing marriage would be great.
FYI he and Jensen are separated, not divorced.

Summary
Diverges from canon at 7.23 "Survival of the Fittest" in which Dean DOESN'T go to Purgatory upon Dick Roman's death, giving a whole extra year for the founding events of this Verse to take place.
Eventual Wincest. Separate and distinct from non-sexual bondage (collaring).
Events feature severe Dean whumping (by monster) - magical control which is transferred to Sam - psychological breakdown - and permanent bondage to Sam as a coping mechanism for the rest of canon timeline.
I know Dean's a tough guy. Time, trauma intensity, loss of control and extreme dependence are all factors. And handing over control voluntarily actually helps him to stay saner, and tougher, in the long run. He may be Sam's sub but he's Dean Winchester; he isn't passive! He gives Sam quite the run-around.
