Summary
"Hey Kris, random question, if you had two seconds to hide, uhm, a coin, about the width of a finger, where would you hide it ?” Asriel’s voice was indicative of anything but a random question. His sibling simply raised an eyebrow, the movement barely caught by the phone camera held way too closely to their face.
Banging knocks were heard on a nearby door, alongside muffled yelling. “This is urgent !” Asriel spat the words out like they were cyanide pills.
The human grinned and hung up, right as the door swung open.
That little shit…
Two years after their return from the Depths, Asriel tries his best to hide a wedding ring from Dess.

Summary
The Roaring was averted, The Prophecy broken, The Angel banished and the worlds saved. Or, at least, that’s what Kris told Asriel. He still didn’t have a clue what happened on the day of the Festival, when everything went dark. Still, this was not yet the perfect ending. Dess, purified from the darkness that had once possessed her, is still trapped in the Depths, imprisoned by unknown forces.
The Fun Gang would come save her, Asriel tagging along, eager to find his love.
However, as Kris stabbed the floor where a can of peppermints, several toothbrushes, dozens of pencils, Undyne’s stolen gun and various other miscellaneous items were gathered, releasing a flash not unlike a nuke going off, Asriel realised he definitely should have asked for an explanation on what Dark Worlds were.

Summary
Kris was eleven years old. A lot younger than his brother, Asriel. Yet, they seemed to understand a lot better than him what texting his girlfriend “I’m home alone ;)” implied.
Especially when she’d join him for a sleepover that night.
In a nice coincidence, Asriel’s face became redder than ever before at the same time that Dess started screaming into her pillow.

These fics usually have a pretty lighthearted, often comedic tones, but are also stuffed with lovely emotional scenes.
In terms of canon, fics in here are mostly canon-compliant, assume Dess is the Knight, and take some creative liberties if needed. Rule of cool applies.
While Dess and Azzy are the main focus, the Fun Gang and the rest of Hometown will often star in these works, and are pretty dynamic characters, not just background sets for the Dessriel.
