Summary
There’s a voice in Jim's head now-it sounds suspiciously like Blinky, ever-encouraging, even when he’s gone. His eyes catch on the glow once again. Time. He’s losing time-it’s not hard to understand why, but it is difficult to fight against it. There’s no fight left in him right now, not anymore. He holds the very essence of time in the palm of his hands. He doesn’t look up from the rubble, can’t bring himself to. The wind is blowing harder now, the promise of rain on the way. It won’t wash away the things that really matter. It won’t wash away his mistakes.
Time.
Jim has time in his hands. His eyes widen as the idea finally catches, sparks, and ignites in his brain.
