Sunday takes a deep breath. It’s not like he and Aventurine haven’t had sex before, anyways—it just feels strange all of a sudden. He feels vulnerable, like usual, but in a different way than before. Almost as if instead of risking the possibility of something going wrong, he’s risking the possibility of things going a bit too right. If he indulges himself in this wonderfully wrecked version of the man he’s exchanged kisses and heated touches with for months now, it could give him too much of a high; one that he doesn’t deserve.

Summary
While the idea of leading Penacony and being in such a high position of power makes Sunday quite anxious, he knows that he is lucky to have the honor of such a role. And if he is said to be born for it, he will gladly fulfill his destiny.
Yet, being scholarly and intelligent can be quite… unfulfilling. He finds it mundane at times, and despite always being focused on his studies, he never finds any joy in it.
And while he knows that casting away his attention from his required role for his own personal gain is selfish and wrong, he often feels conflicted. How can it be wrong if he finds happiness in other people’s joy…? Surely, Ena would be willing to forgive him for such a thing, if he is doing so for others’ wellbeing?

Summary
Perhaps, when the leaves ripen, Sunday would try to recreate that delicacy his mother used to make for him and Robin. Glancing back once more in the direction of the kitchen, Sunday smiled softly into the empty train car. He was glad he ultimately decided to keep it on display. It really was quite beautiful, and should be seen by everyone.
Sunday doesn’t yet realize how much he’d come to appreciate that decision, despite the headaches that were to come.

Summary
The Express Crew had once more decided to make a trip back onto The Xianzhou Luofu, after the events of the War Dance they wanted to check in on everybody before making the jump to the eternal and mysterious land of Ampherous. Bailu had also messaged Dan Heng about something of “Great importance!”, and needed him asap before they were to head off, so that was also another reason.
This time around though they would be bringing someone new along: Sunday. At first he had declined—he was still getting accustomed to this new life and thought going to a new planet would've been too much. But after some persuading (mostly coming from March 7th) Sunday agreed.
