A fortunate time, really—right before assessments. Beom Seok would be studying comfortably at home.
His house was... modest. For someone like him, anyway. Something about it being his father's summer home.
Rich people things.
Five, ten minutes max. Suho hadn't even taken off his jacket. They didn’t want to accidentally walk into anything. It was unlikely that Beom Seok would be nesting smack in the hallway—but still.
Heats were a private, vulnerable time. Meant to be spent with pack—held, scented, safe.
And Beom Seok... Beom Seok was already skittish on a good day.
Forget heat—he hadn’t once taken off the expensive scent blockers he wore religiously. Being seen at his most primal would probably make him bolt and refuse to speak to them for the rest of the semester.
It was endearing. And frustrating.
Not to mention how erratic he’d been lately. Angry. Snappish.
Suho's halmeoni had said it was probably pre-heat nerves.
Si-Eun sincerely hoped his pack was loving.
