A stranger greets Louis whenever he looks in a mirror—a stranger with sunken eyes, sharp cheekbones and hollow cheeks, whose strands of mousy hair tangle into intricate knots; curl into something akin to a broken halo.
Every morning he recites, speaks to no one but himself so he could try and remember that, “This is me. This is how I look like.” The simple act is done so often that it has become more like a ritual than a routine; and even then it’s only part of what he must do the second moonlight dies and day breathes again.(In which Louis suffers from prosopagnosia; he can’t recognize faces, even familiar ones. He can’t remember his own face, let alone Harry’s, but he remembers the way his skin feels under his fingertips, how he trembles under his touch as if Louis is fire, and Harry is nothing but mere paper, disintegrating into ash)

For the Les Mis Kink Meme, round 3, based on the following prompt.
"In the few moments between the soldiers shooting everyone through the floorboards and when they come upstairs - Grantaire rescues Enjolras. Like maybe he knocks him unconscious and drags him to safety.
But after it's all over Enjolras isn't grateful at all to Grantaire, he's depressed and guilty for leading the amis to their deaths and guilty for staying alive and he takes it all out on Grantaire in subtle and less subtle ways. He's horrible to Grantaire even through they're together. He fucks Grantaire hard while taunting him for wanting it, tells him it should have been him dead instead of any of the others, that his sick selfish love robbed Enjolras of his sacrifice. You get the picture.
Basically I want broken!guilty!Enjolras and woobie!Grantaire.
Optional bonus for Enjolras finally realizing what a shit he's been and making it up to Grantaire with sweet sweet penitent lovemaking."

Enjolras knew their past would catch up with them, but he never expected it to happen like this. With Grantaire gone and an unknown enemy pulling strings even Combeferre has trouble seeing, Montparnasse is his only lead to finding out what happened, where Grantaire is, and who twisted all of this together.
(Or: Enjolras flips his shit and just wants his husband back but Grantaire won't come back to him and won't tell him why beyond that Enjolras didn't fuck up again and Enjolras will do absolutely anything to bring him home because he knows Grantaire is very very not okay.)
