Aramis stood up and went to the window. It was doubtful he could see anything in the pitch black of the night, but the gesture itself told Athos all that he needed to know.
'What are they doing to you in Noisy-le-Sec?' asked he irritably. 'Is your abbey made of gold? It's not particularly close to Tours, that much I know.'
'And perhaps it suits me that way.'A glimpse of some of the twenty years between The Three Musketeers and Twenty Years After. Also serving as a back story as for why Aramis and Athos ended up being frondists together.

Aramis' voice was so solemn, Athos did not find it in himself to respond in a jest, but looked for a moment for the right answer:
'I have been hurt by my love towards a woman, as you well know. I have never been hurt by a friend.'
'No' agreed Aramis, lost in his own thoughts. 'And I pray it stays this way.'Aramis plots and conspires, and Athos follows him without a question.

'Upon my soul.'
'I wish you did not swear on what you don't have, as I am partial to believe' muttered Athos, putting his signature on the document, 'and in whose existence you don't believe at all anyway.'An alternate - and altogether more believable - story depicting how Athos came to have Raoul in his care.

Summary
A series of sonnets, written in Polish and English, inspired by the French Revolution heroes as seen and described by Stanisława Przybyszewska in her literary works. It's really a tribute to her and her vision of them, combined with my favorite type of poetry, which is a sonnet. For now I opt to keep writing them consistently during this summer, but who knows, maybe I'll find myself ensnared in the topic and will continue after it ends. Who knows. Thermidor, after all, may come unexpectedly for all of us.

Summary
A series of mostly short poems about characters from Dostoevsky's books. Written in Polish and English, altough French and Spanish may appear in the future as well. Many of them are sonnets (my favorite type of poetry), some of them are not. Basically, anything covering both the topic of Dostoevsky and poetry will end up as a part of this series. I don't think it will ever be marked as finished, because I don't have a specific timeframe I want to devout to writing this; but from time to time either vein or determination struck me and I write something new.

Summary
1920's Egyptology AU - Athos is an archaeologist working for the British Museum, Porthos is a tomb robber/black marketeer working for Richelieu. Whilst each is well known in his field, up to now they've never met - until both set out on the trail of the long-lost tomb of Alexander the Great.
Athos has come into possession of an ancient inscription which indicates the possible location of the tomb - Porthos must steal it from him if he's to be in with a chance of getting there first, but Athos turns out to be not quite the academic pushover he's expecting. To make matters worse, they're not the only ones on the trail of the tomb - which might rather inconveniently also have a curse on it...
