Boba is not used to a lot of the changes he’s been through. Physical change doesn’t bother him - it’s actually nice to look in the mirror and not see himself as one of 1000, but back on Tatooine he feels like a changed man. He’s not used to being kind, and definitely not ready to lean on anyone else. But he’s trying.

The teachers' room certainly doesn't count as one of Jayce's favorite places. The ugly gossip chatter of Hoskel paired with Salo boasting his new fancy handbag ring in Jayce's ears even when the coffee machine is turned full on. Mel's glances make him deeply uncomfortable, and somehow he always manages to trip over Professor Heimerdinger (it's not Jayce's fault that the old man is so small and shrunk, he probably should've been retired for fifty years at least).
But even in the cursed teachers' room, Jayce can find some advantages (scarce, but therefore more precious)—the main of them is called Viktor, the chemistry teacher. Jayce feels a bit of a hypocrite, staring at him surreptitiously whenever he makes his coffee (three spoons of sugar and roughly four ounces of weird almond milk that smelled ridiculously sweet once Jayce risked a whiff), but not nearly enough to stop
stalkingstaring at him. He's not like Mel, obnoxious and obvious with hisaffectionattention, no. Jayce knows how to keep his manners, regardless of what Caitlyn says about him at the family parties. He knows how to behave so as not to seem like a creep.Bookmarked by Axedrose
