The echoes of Orin’s laughter could still be heard throughout the camp, which had become uncharacteristically silent.
“We’re getting them back.” Astarion started with a resolve none of them had seen before.
“That would involve killing Gortash and to kill that man we would need to disable every Steel Watcher in town. Not to mention, the Gondians likely need rescuing, Minsc is still missing, Raphael is out for our heads, and my father-”
“Then we’ll do them all, dammit!” The vampire snapped at Wyll. “That hellion was willing to deal with Cazador and his minions for me! Saving them from that shapeshifting lunatic would be child’s play after that. Or do any of you have another idea?”
None spoke as they all were of equal mind. Whether it was saving Halsin from the goblin camp to angering goddesses for Shadowheart, Gale, and Lae’zel, Tav had helped them without hesitation. It was about time they had returned the favor.
Tav was theirs, and nothing would take the child away if they had anything to say about it.

Summary
Poetry is the only way Shadowheart knows to process the endless loneliness she has felt ever since her parents passed away. She pours her feels into poems and drops them into the void of the internet via Tumblr. She doesn't do it for the notes and the re-blogs, but they certainly don't hurt, even if she never replies to any of them. When a new person, LZ, begins to interact with her poems and then reaches out to her, Shadowheart takes the risk of replying, but she could never imagine the ways that risk would change her life.

Summary
After she came out as a super, Voyd's parents kicked her out and she went to live with the Incredibles, eventually becoming a kind of live-in nanny. A year later, Voyd is part of the family, but fifteen-year-old Violet has another role in mind for nineteen-year-old Voyd - the role of girlfriend. Can they find happiness despite the age difference?
