“Oh he's real all right, I tried to track the guy down as Clark Kent and I lost him, so I got curious and went as Superman and then I lost him again, he literally melds into shadows.”
“He sounds like he could be Spooky's twin, I’m on board with sending an invitation.” Hal replied with a huge grin sent Batman's way.

Shoes was helping herself to the parts of a motorcycle that was way too nice to be left unattended at night in this part of town. It was sure to be a decent pay out, until she heard the stupid robot voice call out from behind her, “You know, this is like some fucked-up, backwards deja vu for me.”
She tensed for a moment but didn’t bother turning to see the Red Hood there. At some point after the big bad crime boss started giving her tips on how to get away with stealing or offering her his fucking jacket in the cold, he started to lose his edge of intimidation. Instead she focused on removing the back tire of the bike and saying, “This is just some routine maintenance.”

After failing to carry Ra's heirs and pass his presumed magic of resurrection to them, Jason Todd is returned to Talia's care. She introduces him to Damian and the two of them soon become inseparable. Life in Nanda Parbat is good for a while. Peaceful. No more questions buzzing in Jason's head now that he has found safety with his new family.
Until it isn't anymore. It's all green, and cold, and wrong, and Jason can never go back to the way things were now that he remembers everything.
"Take him to Gotham, Jason. You'll be safe there."
Jason really, really doesn't want to. But life isn't about what you want, it's about what you must.

This garners the attention of the Red Hood: a figure in Gotham who has just made himself known in the community as an upcoming crime lord.
During his mission to reign crime-alley, he had a strict set of rules laid out. One of those rules just so happens to be that - kids, are off limits.
The world is about to learn about that specific rule, real soon.

In hindsight, Dick shouldn’t have begun impersonating Bruce for Justice League meetings.
Yes, Bruce had given Dick permission to go in his place as a proxy, but really, it was his fault for assuming that Dick was going to attend as Nightwing. But then Jason found out, and then Tim joined in, then Steph, Cass and Damian, but hell, what else was he supposed to do? Leave them out of the most elaborate hoax in Robin history?
At first it was hilarious, one-upping the core members of the JL, but it’s been years and they’re all in too deep now.
